2014 A.D.:  Amazing Correlations of the Characteristics of Nearby Astrological Bodies With the Father, Jesus, the Church/Mankind, and the Bible.

Proverbs 16:11.    "Honest scales and balances belong to the Lord;  all the weights in the bag are of his making."

Don't necessarily count it as foolishness to assume that physical distances, weights, speeds, and other measures employed in the design of God the Father's universe are carefully thought out.  In fact, such things have to be very exact for all things to work in concert.

Consider if you will the following strangely Christian qualities of the Moon, the Earth, and the Sun, all created by Yahweh through Jesus at the beginning of time, as related in the opening of the Gospel of John.  I believe that, taken as a whole, these correspondences are nothing short of profoundly amazing.  To me they speak irrefutably of the power of God's mighty Word when spoken by Him, as when He constructed the Creation by merely speaking its parts into being.  And then think how amazing it is that His Word, powerful beyond mans' ability to measure, sits accessibly in our Bible, transcribed faithfully by those He chose for the job of accurately writing what He spoke to them.  See what you think!

Here is a brief synopsis of the things spoken of in this article, so you can decide if it will interest you:

Certain qualities of the Sun, the Moon, the Earth, seem to suggest that they might have been created to remind us of the Father, Jesus, and the Bride (the Christian church) respectively.  All three of those, our principal nearby solar planetary bodies, have an axis that is 'tilted'.  In each case, the number associated with that tilt - in degrees - has an amazing correlation in the Bible to the particular being (Father, Jesus, or Bride) that I am suggesting that these respective planetary bodies may have been designed to relate to.  And also, this article discusses how each of those three planetary bodies have other design parameters that specifically seem to relate to holy things.

So please consider the following if you will, and ask yourself if it could really all be just 'coincidence':

First, the Moon:  is it supposed to bring Jesus to our minds?  Believe it or not, there are certain properties of the MOON which suggest that it might be so.  I've come to believe that it is most likely true.  Maybe you'll reach the same opinion.  Give it some thought if you feel so inclined.  For a little while imagine that the MOON was built by our Lord to bring Jesus to our minds, the Sun to perhaps bring the Father himself to mind, and the Earth to perhaps bring mankind or the Church (the Bride of Christ) to mind.  Then consider the following things:

1.)  The Moon is the great light that lights the darkness of the night on earth.  What does the scripture say about Jesus?

1a)   From the Gospel of John  Chap 1: v. 1 - 5:

John 1

King James Version (KJV)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

and the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

End Quote

So, the scriptures describe Jesus as the light that lights the spiritual darkness of the world, just as the moon fulfills that role in the night time darkness of the physical world.

2)  The MOON orbits the Earth at a distance of 30 Earth diameters, casting its light (very often described as silver or silvery moonlight in poetry and song) from a distance of 30 Earth diameters.

2.a)  Jesus is not with us now, physically, because when He came physically to literally be our king on Earth, he was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver to those who took Him captive and cruelly and illegally crucified Him.  For 30 pieces of silver He was crucified, and so He currently sits enthroned in the heavens beside the Father of All at a distance from us, and not actually among us, as could have been the case.  We betrayed Him, the Son of God, the Messiah, and mankind's only given Savior.

3)  The light which the MOON reflects takes 1.3 seconds to reach Earth.  How many seconds?  1.3 seconds

3a)  Jesus is called ''the Word'.  He is God's word to mankind, the light that lights the darkness.  And He was there since the beginning of Creation.  What does it say at the beginning of the Word of God, in the first place that 'light' is ever mentioned in scripture?  It is in the Book of Genesis Chapter 1, verse 3 (Genesis 1.3):  Then God said, "Let there be light, and there was light."  Genesis what?  Genesis 1.3  Light takes how long to travel from the MOON to the Earth?  1.3 seconds.

4.)  The MOON's mass is 1/81 as much as Earth's.  1/81 as much mass equals .01234567 as much mass as the Earth.

4a)  .01234567  That is a literal backwards countdown to 0, such as is used for a MOON launch.  But, it is also true that Jesus is called 'the Word', and His New Covenant with man, His word to us, is found in the New Testament, with its 27 books.  27 (books) x 3 (the Trinity number - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) = 81   Is that a valid connection?  I am not sure.  Maybe so, maybe not.  Also note that 27 = 3 raised to the 3rd power.   The Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) are three, though they have a one-ness and a unity that is a deep mystery.  There may indeed be a deep holy mystery folded up into that number 27!

5)  The diameter of the MOON is 27% the diameter of the Earth.

5a)  Again, Jesus brought the New Covenant which is contained in the Bible's 'New Testament' which has 27 books.

6)  The MOON's orbital period around the Earth rounds to 27 days, or if you go 6 decimal places further, to 27.321661 days per orbit is the exact number that I found.  If we imagine that God made the moon circling the Earth as a metaphor for Jesus being our shepherd, circling us, His cherished but disobedient and imperiled flock, then this is actually one of the most profoundly wonderful numbers I have ever found in a way.  Here is why:

first consider the '27'.  Jesus brought the New Covenant, found in the New Testament with its 27 books.  Those books hold the Word of the New Covenant which offers a covenant - a two way agreement - allowing life to those who were dead in their sins.  And Jesus has many names in scripture, one of which is the Word as it clearly calls Him in the Gospel of John, chapter 1.  The number 27 is also 3 (as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are 3) raised to the 3rd power.

next consider the '321'.  In that New Testament the number 3 book is Luke.  If you go to Chapter 2 of Luke and begin reading at verse 1 for 40 verses (40 is the classic period of testing or trial in the Bible.  It typically results in the 'promised thing' now being at hand) you are reading the story of the birth of Jesus to the virgin named Mary and her husband Joseph, of the tribe of Judah.

next consider the '66'.  The number 66 seems to nearly always associate with events where God's people are saved from ruin just at the last moment by a rescue provided by God's hand.  A few examples include that the Protestant Bibles have 66 books, and it holds the teachings which save sinners from disaster.  The Book of Isaiah has 66 chapters, and it is referred to as 'the Little Bible' because it contains so much of the Bible's message.  Christians fled the destruction of Jerusalem in 66 A.D. by running out the gate of the city when miraculously the Roman's briefly lifted the siege on the city.  It was written that no Christians died in the siege of Jerusalem, which resulted in the destruction of that great holy city and hundreds of thousands of Jews.  Jacob/Israel's son named Joseph invited his father Israel and his relatives to come live with him in Egypt so that they would not die in the terrible famine of that time, and scripture says in one spot that Israel brought 66 with him.  (Genesis 46: 26,27)  And there are more instances, even in more modern times.  The Mayflower voyage took 66 days, bringing Pilgrims who thought they would practice a more pure form of Christianity here in the USA than they could back in Europe.

In fact, consider that the number 144,000 (from Rev 14, the personal entourage of saved virgin souls that form Jesus' personal cohort in the future) divided by the moon's diameter of 2,160 miles (a commonly given value in various reference materials) = 66.66 66 66 66 66 etc.  An unending string of 66's.  That is a beautiful and amazing fact if you take the moon as being built in reflection of Jesus and as being meant to call Jesus to mind.

The number '1' most Biblically refers to the Holy Father who is Yahweh or some pronounce it Jehovah.  He is the greatest of all, the center of it all.  It is to Him that Jesus will render up all that has become His, so that the Father will be 'all in all'.  That is what it says in 1 Corinthians 15:20-28.

And so the number 27.321661, at least in the way I just described it, could be boiled down to a story something like follows:  The Word, Jesus, existed with the Father from the beginning, and all things were made through Him by the Father.  He came down by the will of His Father to Earth to be born of man, of a virgin, as prophecy predicted, in Bethlehem, as predicted, from the tribe of Judah, as predicted.  He provided a way...a rescue when there was no other hope...for desperately, sinfully imperiled humanity to escape the Devil, to escape a well deserved consignment to hell.  Those who choose Him as the path to salvation He will then give to the Holy Father, along with all He has, as spoken in 1 Corinthians 15: 20 - 28, and the Father will then very deservedly become 'all in all' again, as He really has been all along.

It's like the whole mission of Jesus is numerically encoded in the orbital period of the Moon around the Earth.

6a)  As mentioned, the New Testament that Jesus brought consists of 27 Books in our Bible.  But also, Jesus is referred to in the scriptures as 'the Tree of Life', and the first place you can read about mans' relationship to a 'tree of life', the first place in scripture that the 'tree of life' is mentioned, is at Genesis 2:7 and through to 2:9 (3 verses). A sort of 2:7 (3) And that tree is known to Christians to be both a real tree in Adam's time, but also a prophetic metaphor for Jesus, just as the 'tree of knowledge of good and evil' is believed by Christians to be both a real tree back at that time, but also a metaphor for the Covenant of the Law, given in Moses' time to the Israelites.  That first giving of those laws introduced sin, since the existence of laws meant there could then be a chance to transgress those same laws.  Transgression of God's Law was sin, and sin brought death into the picture.

Here is Genesis Chapter 2, verses 7-9  (3 verses) :

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

End Quote

And what about 27.321 exactly?  Consider Jesus' words in the 27th book (the Book of Revelation) 3rd chapter, 21st verse of His New Testament:

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

End Quote

So, the number 27.321 - the Orbital Period of the MOON - truly is relatable to Jesus in several ways, even though the Father created the great lights of the heavens with Jesus beside Him on the 4th day of Creation.  This seems like even more evidence that God truly did know the end of all things from the very beginning, as scripture teaches!

7.)  The volume of the MOON is 1/50th that of the Earth, or put otherwise, the Moon's volume is 2% as much as the Earth's.

7a) Jesus is the one in whom we are to take rest.  He is the great release from bondage, the never-ending ruler God the Father appointed over us for the end of the age.  He ends humanity's cycle of bondage (bondage to our human work-masters, bondage to sin.)  He is the great 'release of the captives' for those who are found worthy to be counted as His sheep.  And so, we celebrate in that day and look forward to taking our rest in Him in that day.

The laws of Moses prescribed a holiday that seemed to embody much of that same idea.  It was called the 'Year of Jubilee'.  Every 50 years, 1 in 50, the Israelites took that entire year off from their labors and had a year of resting and celebrating.  They also did every 7 years, and that was called a Sabbath Year, or Sabbatical Year.  But since the 49th year of every cycle was a year off (because 49 is a multiple of 7) imagine how special it was to land on a Jubilee Year, which was also a year off.  Many lifetimes would have held only one such 2 year period, I suppose.

A Jubilee Year was specified in the Old Testament scriptures as a very special sort of year.  Old debts were forgiven.  People returned from the various places that their individual choices had taken them to return to the ancestral lands of their families.  It was a year of new beginnings, a special year of gratitude towards God.  And He promised to give them such abundant harvests prior to the Sabbath Year preceding that Jubilee Year of rest that they would not be in want during that year.  1 in 50.  The mass of the MOON, which perhaps was meant to make us think of Jesus, is again 1/50th the mass of Earth.  1 part in 50.....the number of years in the Law of Moses that were set aside as a great and special Jubilee Year of rest and restoration of what was lost in the previous 49 years!   Is there a connection?  You decide.  But scripture says that God the Father made the heaven for 'signs', among other things.

8.)  The MOON's axis has not been at a perfect 90 degrees to its orbital plane as it has circled the earth over and over and over these last 6,000 years.  Today it is tilted at an attitude of 6.69 degrees from that, and perhaps it always has been?  (6.687 degrees, call it 6.69 for this example.)  But if the MOON is designed to call Christ to mind, then consider this:  Christ will one day come to Earth with armies of angels and do battle with His enemies.  That is promised in scripture, in Revelation and in other scriptures as well.  But just before the attack He will send His angels to mark those people on the Earth who have assisted His work or who are His, and they will be protected, not attacked.  They will be marked by certain of His angels as ones to be shown mercy and not destroyed.

This is possibly prefigured in the Book of Joshua, the 6th Book of the Bible.  In that book, in chapter 6, the  Israellites under Joshua are, by God's command, going to attack the city of Jericho.  It is a Canaanite city, and so named because the people in this area in their several different tribal identities descend from Canaan, the son of Ham who was cursed by Ham's father Noah.  They were cursed to be overcome by the descendants of Noah's other sons, Shem and Japheth.  Noah declared prophetically that they would be slaves to them, in fact.  And as time unfolded subsequent to Noah the Canaanites occupied various regions of what we today call Israel.  But they were always conquered and driven out by other peoples.

In Joshua's day (Joshua was the very next leader after Moses, anointed by Moses per God's direction to take over after Moses) the Canaanites had been unspeakably wicked in God's eyes for a very long time, and God had given the Israelites under Joshua the order to attack the Canaanite city of Jericho, breach its walls, and put everyone to the sword; they were ordered to kill every living creature in the whole city.  Well, almost everyone.  The Israelites had earlier sent in spies to check out the inside of the city and the spies had almost gotten caught, but a woman of Jericho named Rahab had helped them to hide themselves.  She had hidden and sheltered the Israelite spies - even though she knew who they were - because she acknowledged the greatness of their God.  She knew, as all of her people knew, that the God of the Israelites was powerful....unstoppable..... and that their days were nearly over.  They had long heard stories about the power of the God of the Israelites.  And in recent days when the Israelites crossed the Jordan River into their land the Jordan River quit flowing and the water had bunched up upstream of them so that they could cross over on the dry riverbed.  Once they had crossed, the river had flowed again.  Seeing that, how could the people of Jericho not know that their fate was sealed?

The Israelite spies thanked Rahab for this help and concealment by promising that when the attack came, they would show mercy to her family if she would mark her residence in a clear way.  She and her family would be spared.  And that is how it came to pass.  The spies escaped back to the Israelite camp.  They told Joshua of the woman's kindness, and Joshua declared that on the day they attacked Jericho the woman Rahab would be spared for sheltering the spies.

But then oddly, the Israelite army was told by God to mount their attack against the city in a very peculiar way.  The fighting men and the Levite priests were to walk around the besieged city of Jericho in a procession, carrying the Ark of the Covenant and with the Priests blowing their horns in a certain prescribed manner, until they had circled that city for one revolution of the city each day for 6 consecutive days.  It is almost as if they were orbiting the city.  It almost resembles how the MOON orbits the Earth.

And here are two odd coincidental facts:  Joshua and Jesus are essentially the same name when spelled in ancient Hebrew.  And secondly, there was an ancient tradition - though when it began I do not know - that the city of Jericho was symbolic of the Earth.  You can easily look into that more deeply by searching the word 'Jericho'.

So while I know of no reason to relate Joshua to the MOON, there is some sound basis for believing that the name Joshua might be intended to put us in mind of Jesus, and this article is suggesting as you know that the MOON, which orbits the Earth, might be intended in some ways to remind us of Jesus.

Well, back to the attack on Jericho.  Each day they marched around Jericho once, for 6 consecutive days.  On the 7th day, they again marched around the city, but they marched around it 7 times on that 7th day.  This time they blew their horns at the end, and the walls of Jericho fell down.  Here following is how it is described in scripture; remember, the MOON'S axial inclination with regards to its orbital plane is 6.69 degrees.  This Bible passage is from the Bible's 6th book (Joshua), from Joshua's 6th chapter, and is in a portion of the chapter that holds verse 9.  So compare:  6.69 degrees inclination is the moon's axial tilt with respect to its orbital plane.  And we are again looking at the Bible's 6th book, 6th chapter, in the account of an event centered roughly around the 9th verse.

So, it is in a portion of the scripture where a God-appointed Israelite war leader with Jesus' name (essentially) is leading the Israelite army and its priests, carrying the Ark of the Covenant, in a circle around a Canaanite city called Jericho that was thought in ancient times to be not only a city but strangely an allegory for the world.... for our planet essentially. The army has been circling the city for 6 days, almost as if in orbit around it, perhaps.  Here are those passages from Joshua chapter 6:

Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.

And the Lord said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.

And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.

And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.

And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.

And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the Lord.

And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the Lord.

And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before the Lord, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the Lord followed them.

And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

10 And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.

11 So the ark of the Lord compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.

12 And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the Lord.

13 And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the Lord went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rearward came after the ark of the Lord, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

14 And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.

15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.

16 And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the Lord hath given you the city.

17 And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the Lord: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

18 And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.

19 But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the Lord: they shall come into the treasury of the Lord.

20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

21 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.

22 But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her.

23 And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.

24 And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the Lord.

25 And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.

  End quote.

So, the inclination of the moon is 6.69 degrees to its orbital plane.  Joshua (the 6th book) is telling us, in Chapter 6 and where verse 9 is, about a strange 'orbiting' of an enemy city by the ancient Israelites of perhaps the 1400 B.C. time frame, whenever it exactly was that they first entered the promised Canaanite occupied lands to conquer them by God's command.  This took place immediately after their 40 years of wandering in the Sinai subsequent to leaving Egypt as slaves.  And the few persons that were not to be destroyed were marked by Joshua's order, just as it says that when Jesus comes, not this time as a peaceful teacher but as a great conquering King come to claim his kingdom grown wicked, He will first order His angels to speedily mark those few that are His for their own protection.

Here is another odd correlation.  Perhaps it means something.  Perhaps it was not meant to correlate.  But it is highly surprising that the city of Jericho was allegedly thought to allegorically signify the Earth for some reason in ancient times.  It was constructed to be a somewhat roundish shaped city with high defensive stone walls in those ancient times of Joshua, it was said.  Odd as it is, it is never the less true:  if you do some research about Jericho you will find that some source writings make mention of this odd belief by some cultures at some points in history that Jericho somehow signified the earth.  Kind of odd in light of the Joshua 6:9 correlation, right?

9.)  The MOON doesn't generate light.  It faithfully reflects the light of the SUN....which is the great light in our solar system.

9a.)  Jesus said that He spoke only the words that the Father gave Him to speak.  He also acknowledges openly and readily in some verses of scripture that He was not as great as the Father....His Father.  Jesus 'reflected' His Father's words; he said that He spoke the Words that His Father gave Him to Speak.  So just as the moon merely reflects the light it is given by the sun, so Jesus (does the moon speak of him?) only reflects the light given to it by the sun (was the sun made to remind us of the Holy Father?)

10)  The face of the MOON is very marked and marred.  On the side that faces us there are a great many craters, and in between the craters are certain flat and level appearing areas that were named 'Mars'.  'Mar' was one name for an ocean in Latin.  The plural form of several 'Mar' was 'Maria'.

10a)   Jesus was beaten badly before being crucified.  It is specifically mentioned that He was beaten on the face among other places on His body.  He was probably beaten so badly as to be almost unrecognizable, as is prophesied about a certain coming servant of God in Isaiah 52:

 13 See, my servant will act wisely[b];
he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.
14 Just as there were many who were appalled at him[c]
his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being
and his form marred beyond human likeness—
15 so he will sprinkle many nations,[d]
and kings will shut their mouths because of him.
For what they were not told, they will see,
and what they have not heard, they will understand.

  End quote

And there may or may not be a connection to the fact that several women gathered beneath the cross as Jesus struggled and died His cruel earthly death, and some of them were named Mary, or in Latin it would have been 'Maria' I suppose.  A curiously large number of the women named in the New Testament were named Mary.

Maria on the MOON, Several women who in some languages would have been called 'Maria' were beneath the cross.  The face of the MOON was struck many times, and therefore 'disfigured' greatly.  The face of our Lord was likewise struck many times, and therefore disfigured greatly.

11.)  The Moon has approximately the same makeup of chemicals (essentially identical in geological makeup) as the Earth.  This is somewhat puzzling to science, in view of their favorite theories for how the MOON was formed.

11A)  Jesus contained, in the nature of His being, the fullness of God, yet He dwelt in the literal flesh of a man during His ministry on Earth.  The fleshly makeup of our Lord was the same as our own, by the will of the Father, Son, and I would guess the Holy Spirit of God.  This is solid Christian doctrine, and we Christians believe it.  Yet it is also a great mystery, even to Christians I would say.

12)  Escape velocity from the MOON is 2.38 KM/sec.  2.38    So, if you go to the WORD, (which is a name for Jesus, right?) and you go to book number 2 (Exodus)  Chapter number 3, and verse number 8, you find God talking about how He will accomplish His people's ESCAPE from Egypt, where they are slaves, to a land of milk and honey, where they can become free!  Here it is from the NIV:

"So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey--the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites."  End Quote.  S

Somewhat interesting, right?  And God actually and physically led them as they wandered, and prior to that, he parted the waters for their escape through the Red Sea.

So, there is a brief look at how the MOON can be looked at as an object made by the Holy Father to be connotative of Jesus.  It is all subjective I acknowledge, but I ask that the Holy Spirit will lead everyone to consider these thoughts in whatever context and light is right in the knowing eyes of God.  Who knows how much more there may be, but I will end there for now concerning the MOON.

 Update:

13) The surface area of the moon, which reflects the moon's silvery light to us, is 7.4 % as large as that of the Earth.  And Jesus is called the light that lit the darkness, and the light of the world.  The 'skin' of the moon is what you actually see, just as the skin of your friend or your wife is what your eyes see.  So, something important may have been encoded into something about the skin of the moon, right?  Potentially, anyway.  Something 'Jesus related'?  So let's look at the 7 and the 4 of 7.4%.  If we go to the New Testament's first book, Matthew, and go to Chapter 7, V. 4, the passage is as follows:

How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?

End Quote

This passage has two and possibly three 'light' related words.  Plank was the name of a scientist that made great advancements in the study of light.  Eyes are of course key to vision.  And thirdly - perhaps not so well linked - the word 'speck' is a part of the word 'spectrum'.

Secondly, what might the Old Testament say that relates?   From Genesis Chapter 7, V.1-4 (I included the first three verses for context):

The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”  End Quote

Here we have a great connection comparing skin, our outer surface area, as our protection, and Jesus our Lord as our covering of righteousness, and the Ark of Noah as a sort of covering/protection during the Great Flood for those few who would be saved.  Many commentators have believed that the Ark, though a real boat, was also a metaphor for Jesus, our coming savior.  Those who take refuge in Jesus are saved.  Those who took refuge in the Ark were preserved through the flood.

But now re-read the 4th verse of Genesis Chapter 7 placed just above.  Do you remember that Jesus had the 7 day week before His ascension where so much happened.  They speak at church about how He was raised on the 8th day...the first day of the week...i.e. Sunday.  Then, in real history, came 40 more years of Roman rule, Roman 'reign' over Israel and Jerusalem,  Then, Rome became terminally sick of the rebellious Jewish nation of Israel.  They set siege over Jerusalem in A.D. 66.  They very briefly broke the siege in A.D. 66.  The Jewish army bolted out the gates to chase them believing that God had answered their prayers and frightened the Romans, and the Christians, thinking they saw the warning signs that Jesus gave them in Matthew, fled as Jesus had told them to do all those years ago (as preserved in Matthew Chapter 24.)  They ran away in mass at that opportunity given by the lifted siege and the pursuit by the Jewish army (who could not accuse them of running away like traitors) and they ran north and east to other nations.  Then the Jewish army returned to Jerusalem, victorious and emboldened from a surprising defeat of the Roman 12th legion.  Other angry Roman legions returned to encircle the city.  And then a long siege began that ended in 70 A.D. with the Romans breaking into the city, killing most, burning down the temple, and crushing the last major power and authority of the Jewish nation of Israel, 40 years after the crucifixion of Jesus.

So compare the Ark account from Genesis 7:1-4 with the defeat of Jerusalem, using the moon's 7.4% surface (skin) area as a numerical guide, and remember that Jerusalem was full of Jewish people who would not, by and large, accept Jesus, the very Son of God, as their given Messiah and Lord:  You have a 'reign' that kills everyone except those saved through the work of Jesus.  There is a period composed of '40' time units associated with both Noah's rain (40 days) and Rome's 'reign' after Jesus was crucified (40 years) Only those protected by God were saved.   In both accounts, only those obeying God and faithful to God were preserved.

It is an interesting comparative connection, isn't it?  And it asks a lot of chance that once again the Moon relates so intimately to Jesus, though it is only a created thing and not to be worshiped in any slightest way.  But it lends to the idea that the Moon is yet another truly amazing work of God.

14.)  The moon's circumference in miles (6783 miles) / the number of days in a year (365.256 ) = 18.6

But strangely the maximum degrees difference between the plane that the moon orbits in and the plane extending out from the Earth's equator changes in a regular manner, going from a certain number of degrees in the one direction to that same number of degrees in the opposite direction, then repeating the process...over and over and over.  It reaches a maximum difference and reverses direction every 18.6 years.  18.6 v.s. 18.6.  A match!  Chance?

15.)  The Moon's rotation  (1 rotation every 27.321 days) is so exactly matched with the time it takes the moon to orbit the Earth (27.321 days) that we never see the back half of the Moon's exterior surface.  It 'looks' upon the Earth with almost incomprehensible constancy!  Such perfect synchronization, yet it is supposed to have all formed itself?  It defies reason that accident, pure accidental chance, could produce such mind numbing order and such a marvelously balanced pattern of movements as we see in our nearby planetary bodies, especially when examined using the old English system of measures:  the 12 inches in a foot, the 5280 feet in a mile, etc.  What an unspeakably amazing God (Yahweh) produced this CREATION that exists all around us.  And Jesus was there at His Father's side, scripture says, when it all was made.

16.)  God gave us His word to learn from and follow in the pages of the Holy Bible.  It is a great historical account full of lessons and wisdom and instruction.  He chose to focus a great deal of its emphasis on the 13 sons of Jacob (well, 12 sons at first, but then the son named Joseph was replaced by Joseph's two sons Ephraim and Manasseh) and on the activities of the 13 Israelite  tribes that came from these 13 sons.  Then from Jesus (referred to as 'the Word') came the 13 Apostles whom God focused on for much of the New Testament.  (Well, there were 12 Apostle at first, but Judas was replaced by Mattathias and then Paul also was added, making 13 Apostles.  So, the number 13 is closely associated with the Word.

So, if you can allow that the moon seems to be designed to call Jesus to mind, and Jesus has the title "the Word" among His other titles, and words are sounds spoken by voices, and Jesus speaks His teachings and message to the people of the Earth, then the following is very interesting:  it would take sound - a spoken word - almost exactly and precisely 13 days to reach the Earth from the moon if sound was to travel that distance (Wikipedia gives it as 238,856 miles average) at the speed it travels on the Earth (767 miles per hour.)  238,856 divided by 767 miles per hour = 311.4 hours.  Divide that 311.4 hours by 24 hours in a day and you get 12.98 days travel time for sound to travel the distance from the Earth to the moon were sound to travel that distance at its accepted speed on the Earth's surface.

17.)  The radius of the moon is 1077 miles or 1079 miles...something like that.  One thousand and seventy something miles it appears.  Sources vary a small amount.  So let's break the number up into 10 and then 7 something.  If you go to the 10th book of the Protestant type Bible...it is 2nd Samuel... and read chapter 7 it is Nathan the prophet talking to king David and basically telling David a word from God; Nathan tells David that it won't be him who builds the Lord's temple, but it will be David's offspring.  (It turned out to be one of David's sons named Solomon, the wisest man of all time but not so wise as Jesus).  But when talking about that son's future reign to David, Nathan passes on that this son will be God's son too.  And he talks about how this 'son' will be punished by human hands when he errs.  Jesus was punished by human hands, tortured by both Romans and Jews, when he took on our sins (a form of erring, in a way, as in taking on errors not His own on our behalf).  But the Bible holds no record of Solomon ever being punished by the hands of men.  It is as if Nathan's prophecy suddenly shifts from speaking of Solomon's future to talking about Jesus, still about 1,000 years away in time, beginning in bout verse 11.  Here it is, 2 Samuel chap 7:

After the king was settled in his palace and the Lord had given him rest from all his enemies around him, he said to Nathan the prophet, “Here I am, living in a house of cedar, while the ark of God remains in a tent.”

Nathan replied to the king, “Whatever you have in mind, go ahead and do it, for the Lord is with you.”

But that night the word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying:

“Go and tell my servant David, ‘This is what the Lord says: Are you the one to build me a house to dwell in? I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought the Israelites up out of Egypt to this day. I have been moving from place to place with a tent as my dwelling. Wherever I have moved with all the Israelites, did I ever say to any of their rulers whom I commanded to shepherd my people Israel, “Why have you not built me a house of cedar?”’

“Now then, tell my servant David, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty says: I took you from the pasture, from tending the flock, and appointed you ruler over my people Israel. I have been with you wherever you have gone, and I have cut off all your enemies from before you. Now I will make your name great, like the names of the greatest men on earth. 10 And I will provide a place for my people Israel and will plant them so that they can have a home of their own and no longer be disturbed. Wicked people will not oppress them anymore, as they did at the beginning 11 and have done ever since the time I appointed leaders[a] over my people Israel. I will also give you rest from all your enemies.

“‘The Lord declares to you that the Lord himself will establish a house for you: 12 When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. 13 He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14 I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with a rod wielded by men, with floggings inflicted by human hands. 15 But my love will never be taken away from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you. 16 Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me[b]; your throne will be established forever.’”  End Quote

So once again Jesus can be linked to a dimension or property of the moon.  I can only imagine how many moon correlations a keener mind than my own might notice.

Ok, having mentioned some characteristic of the MOON which seem perhaps prophetic, that were possibly made to be prophetic by the Father (though that is only speculation) let's now consider the EARTH.  It too seems to have certain potentially prophetic features.  Consider the following:

1)  The EARTH has the Sun as its object of attention so to speak; it is the SUN that it orbits, 'watched' closely by the Moon.

1a)  The Church worships the Holy Father through Jesus.  The Father is indeed our all in all, but we had ruined all of our chances with the Father, refusing to love, refusing to obey, so as a grieved Father's last offer of hope for restoration with His rebellious and wicked human children He has given humanity His Son, Who in turn gave up all of His dignity, His life and His first form in order to save those who would follow Him from spending a well deserved eternity in Hell.  And now it is probably fair to say that in a way He guards us like a shepherd circles His beloved  flock, working to guard us against the dangers presented by others and against our own worst inclinations.  A shepherd circles His flock to protect it, keeping his face towards it and his eye upon it, and Earth is similarly circled by the MOON.

  2)  The size of the EARTH is such that it can occasionally cast the MOON in total darkness, completely obscuring it from the SUN.

2a)  Christ, on the day of His crucifixion, felt so abandoned and so in the dark that He cried out to His own Father to ask why He was abandoned there on the cross.  For the sake of lost mankind Jesus faced what seemed like total separation from His Father.  The MOON can experience this same sort of thing when the EARTH's shadow completely covers it.  It cannot 'see' the SUN.

  3)  Jesus is directly of the Father.  He is a direct SON in the way that God the Almighty Father chose to 'birth' a SON.  I believe that man cannot fully know what that exactly means or entails.  But, the distances of the EARTH from the SUN and the MOON from the SUN, combined with the exact distance that the MOON is from the Earth, when combined with the exact size of the SUN and the Exact size of the MOON can create a thing which defies all odds of existing:  the MOON can sometimes cover the SUN, during an eclipse (but only certain eclipses) in such a perfect way that the corona of the SUN can be seen encircling the MOON, yet with no part of the actual SUN's body being visible.  Jesus said that He was GOD, but not in a way that meant HE was trying to steal even the least bit of glory from HIS Father.  He was the image of His Father in some Holy and hard to fully fathom way.  And Jesus once said that 'if we had seen Him, we had seen the Father'.  Look how perfectly the face of the full MOON can overlay the face of the blazing SUN!  There are these rare eclipses where the fit, the match, of the disc of the MOON is an unbelievably perfect overlay for the disc of the SUN.  The number of distances, sizes, and inclinations of orbit that must be exactly perfect are dumbfounding when you think about it:  how many sizes could our MOON have been?  How many distances away from us might it have been?  And the same with the SUN!  And the elliptical orbit must be considered as well.  Yet, despite all of these fantastical odds against it, the MOON can perfectly cover the SUN.

And such amazing synchronizations as this must be coupled with the absurd odds against the MOON's rotation being so in synch with the EARTH's that the same face of the MOON is always seen!  It is like a perfect machine, in a way!  It is as if it is all part of a perfectly designed mechanism, deliriously cunning in its conception, and yet quite possibly containing Biblical meaning in the design of its features.... meanings which correlate to the Holy scriptures of a book - the Bible - believed by Christians and in part some others to be the very words given by God, the creator of all things, to man.  That is meaningful! If you know the WORD OF GOD that is to say, it may be very rich stuff indeed to consider the heavy inter-relation between the Word of God and His creation!

    4)  The EARTH is fated to be destroyed one day.  The scriptures assure us of it several times.  It is because of all the sin and rebellion of man for the most part.  We have polluted the EARTH both literally and spiritually in the eyes of God.  But would you believe that the tilt of the Earth's axis...that number....is also the number of one of the very verses in Isaiah that speaks of this present Earth's final destruction? The Biblical scriptures are quite clear that the EARTH in the form that we presently know it is going to break up and reel lopsidedly and sustain irreparable damage.  It will one day be destroyed and then replaced by a new EARTH.  The sin that mankind has brought upon the EARTH has doomed it, so to speak, and it is slated to be destroyed.   Seriously, can you believe that the angle of the tilt of the Earth's axis - 23 deg 26 min ....(so it is finished with the 23rd degree and is leaning part way into the 24th degree) ...that number, seems to relate to the Book of the prophet Isaiah speaking of that very destruction of the EARTH just mentioned?

If you go that distance through the Bible's Book of Isaiah, finishing the 23rd and reading into the 24th chapter of Isaiah - you will find a seemingly amazing secret.  Nestled there in among the verses in the Book of Isaiah is a section that describes this coming destruction of our planet Earth and which describes why it will happen!  Consider Isaiah Chapter 24 (So, just like with the number of degrees of the Earth's axial tilt, Isaiah is finished with the 23rd Chapter, and now part way through the 24th when we come across this description of the coming destruction of the Earth)  Here is Isaiah chapter 24 :

See, the Lord is going to lay waste the earth
    and devastate it;
he will ruin its face
    and scatter its inhabitants—
it will be the same
    for priest as for people,
for the master as for his servant,
for the mistress as for her servant,
    for seller as for buyer,
    for borrower as for lender,
    for debtor as for creditor.
The earth will be completely laid waste
    and totally plundered.
The Lord has spoken this word.

The earth dries up and withers,
    the world languishes and withers,
the heavens languish with the earth.
The earth is defiled by its people;
    they have disobeyed the laws,
violated the statutes
    and broken the everlasting covenant.
Therefore a curse consumes the earth;
its people must bear their guilt.
Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up,
    and very few are left.
The new wine dries up and the vine withers;
    all the merrymakers groan.
The joyful timbrels are stilled,
the noise of the revelers has stopped,
    the joyful harp is silent.
No longer do they drink wine with a song;
the beer is bitter to its drinkers.
10 The ruined city lies desolate;
the entrance to every house is barred.
11 In the streets they cry out for wine;
    all joy turns to gloom,
all joyful sounds are banished from the earth.
12 The city is left in ruins,
its gate is battered to pieces.
13 So will it be on the earth
    and among the nations,
as when an olive tree is beaten,
or as when gleanings are left after the grape harvest.

14 They raise their voices, they shout for joy;
from the west they acclaim the Lord’s majesty.
15 Therefore in the east give glory to the Lord;
exalt the name of the Lord, the God of Israel,
in the islands of the sea.
16 From the ends of the earth we hear singing:
    “Glory to the Righteous One.”

But I said, “I waste away, I waste away!
    Woe to me!
The treacherous betray!
    With treachery the treacherous betray!”
17 Terror and pit and snare await you,
    people of the earth.
18 Whoever flees at the sound of terror
    will fall into a pit;
whoever climbs out of the pit
will be caught in a snare.

The floodgates of the heavens are opened,
the foundations of the earth shake.
19 The earth is broken up,
    the earth is split asunder,
    the earth is violently shaken.
20 The earth reels like a drunkard,
    it sways like a hut in the wind;
so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion
that it falls—never to rise again.

21 In that day the Lord will punish
the powers in the heavens above
and the kings on the earth below.
22 They will be herded together
    like prisoners bound in a dungeon;
they will be shut up in prison
and be punished[a] after many days.
23 The moon will be dismayed,
    the sun ashamed;
for the Lord Almighty will reign
on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem,
and before its elders—with great glory.

End Quote

So, the tilt of the Earth - that exact number - correlates in this amazing way with the Biblical description of the Earth's exact manner of eventual destruction.

* Here is a quick one.  The diameter of the Earth's orbit around the SUN is given as 185,892, 973 miles.  Pretty far, right?  But how long would it take a beam of LIGHT to cross that distance?  185,892,973 miles / 186,282 miles per second = 999.4 seconds!  That's off from being a perfect 1,000 seconds by about 1/2000th of a second.  That's a suspiciously perfect sized orbit.  Smacks of a creator, right?

5)  The equator of the Earth bulges outward a bit.  The diameter of the sphere that is the Earth is about 27 miles greater at the equator.  We are drawn that far towards the orbiting MOON, so to speak, at the Earth's equator.  A distance of about 27 miles is how far we are drawn towards the MOON, a celestial body which seems in some ways to be made to remind us of Jesus.  And what did Jesus give us?  The teachings of the New Testament, with its 27 books.  The Earth is 27 miles greater diameter at the equator, as if reaching outward towards the SUN, or towards the MOON, perhaps.   And again, there are 27 books in the New Testament and it is through the teachings of these books that Jesus has attempted to reconcile rebellious and wicked mankind with their pure, holy, and greatly wronged but still love filled Father.  God is compassionate and merciful.....greatly so.  But not without end.  He is not forgiving beyond any measure what so ever.  Any proper regard for righteousness would tend to prevent Him from forgiving everything no matter what, no matter how often, no matter how flagrant.  So, man truly was without hope through his own excessive sinfulness until Jesus came to offer us one last straight and narrow path back to the forgiveness of our Father and Maker.

The Earth 'reaches out' about 27 miles at its equator.  The New Testament, with its offer of a New Covenant through the blood of Jesus, offers man his only actual hope of avoiding Hell, and is man's only hope for redemption and reconciliation with our Father and Maker.  And this New Covenant Jesus brought has come over the course of time and events to exist in the form of 27 books.

The number 27 shows up a lot in the relationship between the Earth, the Sun, and the Moon.

6)  Here is a pretty startling correlation:  The Equatorial circumference of the Earth is 24,901 miles according to some sources.  It seems that nearly all sources are in very close agreement with this number.  And the Earth seems to represent the Church, or Mankind.  So, in a sense, this 'circumference' represents the 'extent' of 'mankind', if you will allow the comparison.  So, 24,901 (miles) represents the extent of 'mankind'.

In scripture it says 70 years is the general extent of a man's life.  From Psalm 90:10  :

"The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away."  End quote.

And that is pretty true.  The average world wide life span of humans is listed as 68 yrs 4 months for males, and 72 yrs 8 months for females ( according to Wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_life_expectancy ) So, that is probably not an exactly accurate number.  But it is probably a close estimate, and the average of the men and the women comes out to almost exactly 70.49 yrs.  Being slightly below 70.5 years it actually rounds down (barely) to 70 years.  Yet, while it is amazing that a Psalm, written 3,000 years ago, would be shown so accurate in this present day and age when we have the ability to make a knowledgeable estimate on average human age, that is not the astounding part of it all!  Let's look at the average world male lifespan since the Bible tends in its speech towards the male pronoun.  68 years 4 months is the offered average lifespan of a human male world wide?  How many days is that?  How many days on this Earth?  68 years 4 months is the same as 68.333 years, right?  And the length of a solar year is accepted to be 365.25 days, correct?  So, 365.25 days a year multiplied times 68.333 years = 24,958.6 days.  Call it 24,959 days in a male human's lifespan.  What was Earth's circumference?  24,901 miles.  The difference between the two numerals (24,959 and 24,901) is less than 0.24%.  They are identical to within 1/4 of 1%!!  And remember, that is using an estimate of average world wide human male lifespan.  The perfectly correct number could be closer or further.  To put that in perspective, a NFL football field that was off in length by 0.24% would be off by less than 1 foot.  So, God created a planet ( Earth) for man to live on, and whose geometry I am suggesting may be Biblical, whose geometry reflects the days of the life span of a man with nearly perfect accuracy.  So, if true, God essentially foresaw the eventual lifespan of a man, the exact length of the distance unit that we call the mile, created the Earth to an exact circumference before these units were ever used by a man, and foresaw the exact length of a calendar day and year.  That is an amazing Deed of God!!

Alright, now having looked at the MOON and the EARTH, let's consider the SUN as well.  It too was made by God, and if I was to guess, I believe that the Holy Father may have created the Sun in such a way that it should remind us of HIM.  The SUN is not our Holy Father, and definitely not some object to be worshipped, nor should we think it any more than a magnificent object that the Holy Father created.  Yet...it is awesome, and is at the center of our Solar System, placed there by the Father Himself.  How could we not notice it; He gave it such a prominent place?

So how is it like our Holy Father?  Here are some things we could note and consider, though their intended relationship to our Father is only a conjecture:

  1)  No one can look directly at the glory of the Holy Father.  In the Old Testament scripture it is plain that the ancient belief was that if you looked directly upon God you would die.  Moses...one of God's favorites...was told as a special honor to him to hide back in a cleft of a rock and he was then allowed to look upon a portion of God's being as He was passing by.  He was only allowed to look at a portion, and only at the back side as the Father was passing.  (Note that 'a cleft in a rock' has been thought an allegory of Jesus, though Jesus' ministry came about 1500 years after Moses.)

1a)  The SUN is too bright for human eyes to look at directly.  We will go blind if we look directly into the SUN for too long.  Its brightness and radiated heat, while totally necessary in a diffuse or diluted concentration in order for life to even exist in its present earthy form, is none the less deadly to life when experienced in its fullness.

  2)  All life depends on God for its being, yet approaching God without permission was thought a death sentence.  The Bible holds an interesting story, as an instance of this:  the Ark of the Covenant was the place of God's glory and His residence on Earth for a time, yet the Bible tells of how it was once stolen in battle by the Philistines (Because Israel had grown wicked towards God, so this 'theft' was allowed by God)  yet then the stolen Ark almost destroyed the Philistine nation with terrible plagues that broke out, and after about 7 months of devastation while having it in their possession they were at wits end.  In terror they placed it in a wagon, surrounded by trespass offerings made of gold, and placed two new mother cows - that had penned up little babies - on the yoke to see what would happen.  They reasoned that if it was the Hebrew God causing all of the destruction, the cows might - against their nature as mothers - take it back to Israel.

Those mother cows left their penned up calves behind and pulled that unmanned wagon clear back to the territory of the Israelites with the Ark of the Covenant in the wagon.  Certain Israelites working the harvest in their demoralized nation looked up and saw it and were ecstatic!  They received it back with rejoicing.  Yet when some curious Israelites dared to crawl up and lift the lid and look inside - common men and not Levite Priests - God struck a great many of them dead without hesitation.  God is immeasurably Holy.  He is pure and Holy beyond reckoning and unapproachable except by His invitation!

2a)  The SUN provides warmth and energy that life on Earth depends on for its being.  But if we approach the SUN too closely, such as space probes might, or even as in the case of a man caught in the desert sun without protection for his skin, it can be death.

  3)  The number 8 relates to Jesus' life in so many ways that eschatologists and Christian religious leaders sometimes call it 'Jesus' number'.  Here is Psalm 8, which has only 9 verses.  Psalm 8:1-9

Psalm 8[a]

For the director of music. According to gittith.[b] A psalm of David.

Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory
    in the heavens.
Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger.
When I consider your heavens,
    the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?[c]

You have made them[d] a little lower than the angels[e]
and crowned them[f] with glory and honor.
You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their[g] feet:
all flocks and herds,
and the animals of the wild,
the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.

Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

  End quote

Also, all life is saved, and was originally made, by God the Father with and through Jesus His Son.  And the great Ark of Noah - which saved only 8 people's lives - is often referred to as a "type" of the coming Jesus of Nazareth, because through Noah's Ark all fleshly life that was allowed to be saved was saved.  And through Jesus, all souls that will ever be saved will be saved. So, the Ark of Noah really is a fitting "type" of the coming Jesus.  So consider Genesis 8:19 for a minute.

19 All the animals and all the creatures that move along the ground and all the birds—everything that moves on land—came out of the ark, one kind after another.  End Quote

Psalm 8: 1-9............Genesis 8:19

And here is a second correlation:  the light of the Sun, that glorious light that is too intense to look directly upon, takes 8 min 19 seconds to reach Earth (that rounds to 8.3 minutes.)  If we go to the 8th book of the New Testament)  the testament which speaks of Jesus, the light that lights the darkness of our spiritual world, you are in 2nd Corinthians.  Go to it's third chapter (a book 8 and its chapter 3, correlating with the 8.3 minutes that it takes our Sun's light to reach Earth) there you will read a chapter focused on how the light of God's glory is too great to look upon, far exceeding the glory of the earlier covenant of Moses!

3a)  The great life preserving light of the SUN takes 8 minutes and 19 seconds to arrive at Earth, and probably always has!  Psalm 8, verse 1-9 and Genesis 8, verse 19 relate to this great and powerful God that created us, and the travel time of the life giving light of the SUN is also this very same number.  And the New Testament's book # 8, chapter #3 speak of a light too glorious to easily behold.

  4)  God the Father is mighty in the way that only the originator of it all could be.  Face it...we don't have a framework for considering the magnitude of such mightiness.  We compare things which are similar to each other in our thoughts...but nothing is really similar to God the Father, except the Son that is His to the complete fullness of the extent that He was authorized to be such by the Father Himself.  The Father is a singularity in ways our minds cannot even fully grasp.  How can we please Him?  Nothing we do can be done as well as He could do it.  What should we give Him?  All things we have proceed from Him in the first place.  So how can we please our God?  Well, it can be tried!  He tells us how!  Just as our own little children are precious in our sight though they are not so efficient at doing things as we are, we too are told how to be children pleasing to our God.

He tells us that it is pleasing to Him when we obey His commands and teachings.  And He tells us it pleases Him when we love Him and love each other!  And of course He has told us to follow His Son whom He sent:  Jesus of Nazareth!

4a)  So how might the Sun convey this concept?   (if the sun is indeed meant in some ways to remind us of the Holy Father):  Well, it has a 'declination' also.  It leans 63.5 degrees.  Its axis is tipped to a certain degree....and the Father bows to no one!  So, is it tipped to such a degree as to 'speak' to us?  It may be.  Or maybe it is not.  But remember, it is love and the keeping of commandments that pleases the Father, and which may please Him enough that He will 'lean' our way out of love.  63.52 degrees.  So what is the 63rd book of God's word in the 66 book Bibles?  It is 2 John , and here is verse 5.  Let's start there and read 2 verses:

And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

End Quote

He told us this same basic thing in His Word in other places, both in the Old Testament and the New Testament and in the Letters to the Churches!:

Old Testament:  Deuteronomy 11:1  : Love the Lord your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.

  New Testament  Matthew 22:34:

34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[d] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Letters to the Churches:  1 John 5:3  :  In fact, this is love for God:  to keep His commands.  And His commands are not burdensome.

   End Quote

So, are these commandments so crucial, so fundamental, and so pleasing to our Father that He built His shining sun to incline to the exact number of degrees that would link to His mighty Word in such a way as to remind us of them?  It is only a speculation, but I do like that possibility!  And it just might be!  But again, only speculating.  I like to look around for mighty things that may have been left by Him and study them, like they might be pieces of bread left along the trail for the hungry, and if you look for things that point to how mighty He is you will certainly find a great number of undeniables, and a great number of 'possibles'...everywhere!!

5)  The SUN sends light to the Earth at a speed that rounds to 186,000 miles per second (rounded to even thousands.)  It sends the light that dispels the darkness on our world.

5a)  As earlier mentioned, in the Gospel of John Jesus is referred to as the light that lights the darkness.  He was sent by Yahweh our God and maker to dispel our spiritual darkness and much more.  He was God in the flesh of a man, walking as we walk, living as we live, facing the trials we face and the temptations as well, yet he did it without sin.  His fleshly side descended through the Israelite tribal blood line of Judah, the 4th son of Jacob/Israel.  It was prophesied of that tribe that they would produce the rulers, and so Jesus was a fulfillment of that prophesy as well.

Sometimes in scripture the tribes would be counted...a census taken.  Here is the number of men from the tribe of Judah, per numbers 2:9

" All the men assigned to the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, number 186,400. They will set out first."

  End quote.

Jesus came as light to a fallen world.  Light travels at a bit over 186,000 miles per second. He came from the tribe of Judah which, when counted hundreds of years before the birth of Jesus, had a bit over 186,000 men.  No other tribe held that number.  Was it a prophetic census?  With the Word of God, there are so many layers.  Maybe it was!

I leave this as a possible work in progress, and hope you are seeing the links.  Though they are all conjectural, you have to admit....they pile up in an odds defying way.  I feel that they certainly do.  The Father built the creation with Jesus there beside Him, states the opening verses of the Gospel of John. He was the point of it all, in His Father's eyes, it seems.  Who but they can fully know?
