2012 A.D.:  6th Day Series:  A Bride From The Side?

The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman,' for she was taken out of man."  Adam speaking of his newly formed bride Eve, in Genesis 2:23  (the 'bold' added by the author of this account, of course)

Some people have suggested that Noah's Ark, which had a door In Its Side is supposed to cause our thoughts to move to Jesus, the one who can rescue us from God's wrath for our sins and from the Great Tribulation, just as the boat called the Ark rescued Noah's family from God's wrath in the form of the Great Flood.  Well, amazingly, the story of the creation, the fall of man, the great flood, and the rescue of those few chosen people by the Ark of Noah is like a love story telling how God rescued those He loved from a destruction that justice demanded that He mete out to the rest of the world.  It is a love story of a husband (God the Father and the Ark He provided) saving a bride (those 8 few humans in Noah's family who were found righteous) in a way.  And it takes 206 verses to tell.  From the first verse in Genesis chapter 1 to the last verse in Genesis chapter 8 is 206 verses, and that last part is where God promises that He will never again strike down every living thing as He had just done.  He finishes Genesis chapter 8 by saying:

"As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night will not cease."  Gen 8:22

Well, Christian mankind is called the 'Bride of Christ', and God gave mankind 206 bones for each adult person, as a rule.   There are 206 bones in each average specimen of mankind, and 206 verses in the first 8 chapters of Genesis, ending with God having saved all of mankind that He found righteous from the wicked world in which they lived.... a world that He had destroyed by means of an unspeakably massive flood.

We were made on the 6th day of Creation, and we have a generally agreed upon 640 or 650 some muscles in our bodies.  (The definition of what constitutes a distinct muscle is not agreed upon.)  6th day creature.  600 something muscles.

And you know how God formed Eve from material taken from Adam's side while Adam was asleep?  Well, blood and water came from Jesus side while Jesus was 'asleep' on the cross.  And God used that to form Jesus' bride the church, right?

A soldier, a Roman Centurion, stabbed Jesus in the side while He was on the cross, and so much blood and water came out that this experienced old soldier was startled, and said "Surely this was the Son of God."  Well, Christians are sanctified by that blood and water, and the Christians collectively form the "CHURCH", and the "CHURCH" is called the 'Bride of Christ'.  So, isn't that a 'Bride From The Side'?

And by the way, you can look it up for yourself, but there are many relations of the number 8 to Jesus.  Some say 8 is Jesus' number for that reason.  There were 8 people on the Ark of Noah.  Newborn Jewish sons had to be circumcised on the 8th day.  (Circumcision could be viewed as 'The cutting away of the flesh of the son'!)  Jesus rose on the 8th day of His event filled last days! Sunday, though it's the first day of the week, comes after the 7th day, so...it's sort of the 8th day also!  We finish learning how people were saved from the first worldwide destruction (the Great Flood) at the end of the 8th Chapter of Genesis.  Jesus alone is able to save us from the next very widespread destruction of mankind.  So anyway, these and a lot of other 8's relate to Jesus.

Perhaps all of these numbers and events are connected? It's possible, though speculative.

A Bride From The Side

Hello,

I personally believe that realizing how many great deeds of God have actually occurred throughout history will lead some people to be saved giving their life to Christ.  If you agree, then please, take the time to be a 'missionary', to love your neighbor enough to care about their soul.  Please mention and recommend visiting the Deeds of God website on any social media sites that you belong to.  Tell a favorite account to your friends or family, and tell them where you read it.  To know God is to stand in awe of Him, but too few people know Him today.  Accounts like these are yet another way to come to know Jesus and the Holy Father, and the Spirit of Truth that helps us understand.  Thank you.  Dan Curry
