2011 A.D.: Faith, Hearing, and the Human Ear
Admire the work of God! Stereocillia. Hearing cells. Some grow in a cupping pattern, that better catch the sound vibrations. That implies a knowledge of acoustics, right? They stand up almost like a group of humans, listening to the word of God being spoken by a preacher on a hill side. If you hear the Gospel, it is these cells in your ear hearing it. They are so specifically designed, so brilliantly perfect in their form. They exist in our fluid filled cochlea, a structure which also magnifies the ability to collect sound because of its unique and unlikely shape. Isn't the Holy Spirit called the Water of Life? And here are these cells, submerged in fluid, allowing us to hear the words of life that Jesus brought from the Father: the Gospel! Were such features the work of mindless evolution? Of course not! It is so very incredibly hard to purposefully design complex structures and systems that really work well. And we are taught that they accidentally designed themselves? So completely astronomically unlikely! The wicked forces at work in the world would like to rob God our Maker of His due credit....in fact they would have us not believe in God at all if they can manage it. But use your discernment...could such wonders spring into being on their own? Not even once.
We are indoctrinated in our earliest years that raw chance can produce such wondrous complexity of design, but such a thing has never been observed anywhere at any time. Chance does not produce marvelously complicate things that work well and can repair themselves, etc. It has never ever been observed. It defies reason. If you try to describe 'chance' building anything purposeful and complicated with all of the complexities working together towards the achievement of a completed mission of producing a useful biological apparatus the discussion quickly becomes comical, most especially if you discuss the intimate tiny details that must occur successfully in order for 'chance' to reach its goal. It is ludicrous, for one thing, to ascribe goal oriented thinking to 'chance'. Chance is not an entity. It has no brain cells, for instance. It has no goals in mind.

It not only is shaped in the most brilliantly effective manner but it can function for 100 years or more, it can interact with our brains, it can self-repair to various degrees based on damage type....in short it is a marvel! It is truly a marvel of marvels, like so many portions of our anatomy. If you tasked a team of engineers to produce such a thing (in its hypothetical absence, I mean) you would be wise not to expect a working model quickly. It is a towering achievement merely in its own right, yet it is only a link in the chain of our human hearing.

In the scriptures it says "Faith Is By Hearing". Hearing the Gospel is different than hearing ordinary things. Certain people at certain times are going to respond with inordinate intensity to the words of Jesus's teachings (Jesus said that He spoke the very words that God gave Him to speak.) That's because their souls and spirits know things that their mind may not. They have been 'primed' to respond since the beginning of creation. It's deep calling to deep. They are at that place in their life where they are simply ready to be reached with the Gospel message.
So, if any part of the human body might have some cool images built into it, we could expect those organs and structures that contribute to our sense of hearing to be among them.
And I think that our ears do in fact contain come structures that also serve as 'designer images'. I believe that there are some special structures built into our ear that seem to call Biblical things to mind.
Picture Jesus speaking the word - the bread of life - to about 5000 people, clustered in groups of 50 and 100 people. Picture the words He speaks travelling through the air as soundwaves and stimulating hair cells in their inner ears that look almost like.... well, clustered groups of 50 or 100 people. It's an interesting idea, isn't it. God!! No limits to His genius. May He be loved, thanked, appreciated, praised and obeyed by us, the sheep of His pasture.

It is only speculation, but there seems to be an awfully large number of visually suggested connections, word homonyms, symbolized alphabetical characters, etc. I believe God built all of the human body 'in the image of God', and that we really are fearfully and wonderfully made'.
