2016 A.D.: The Orchid Called the 'Flower of the Holy Spirit'
Does the Creation sometimes testify of Holy things! The scriptures say that it does. How about this flower for one instance, this beautiful orchid, called the 'Flower of the Holy Spirit'? Before it blooms it looks like praying saints or perhaps humble hooded figures praying. But bloomed, it looks like a gloriously pure white dove, wings spread as if in flight. And the dove is a symbol - for about two thousand years now at least - of the powerful Holy Spirit that proceeds from the Father. And we Christians pray to God through the Holy Spirit, so how interesting that the two representations are both found on the same flower! Yahweh is great.
