How Many Verses in the Protestant Bible?
It is kind of a beautiful thing that according to various people that have counted them there are 31,102 verses in the Protestant King James Bible.
The Bible does spend a lot of time talking about the holiness of the Father Almighty. And in oh so many ways it makes it clear that mankind is a very lost creature, not really capable of governing ourselves wisely or well by any measure. We truly do need our King to come and lead us! And the Father has assigned His Son Jesus to come one day and take possession of us and His Kingdom and rule us on behalf of the Father. With that in mind, think again of the number of verses in the Bible: 31,102 verses. Now, break that number up as follows: 3 11 02
Now, go to the 3rd book of the New Testament (Luke). And go to the 11th chapter. And read the 2nd verse:
2 He said to them, “When you pray, say:

hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.[b]
In a way it is like a summation of the lessons we are taught by the Word of God. As if to say "Father, we see that you are holy! Please come and take charge. Lead us!"
