2011 A.D.:  God Creates the First 'Marriage'

  " A man who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord."  Proverbs 18:22

  We probably all know that in the Book of Genesis God created the first marriage when he presented Eve, 'made from one of Adam's ribs' or 'taken from his side', to Adam.  But have you ever noticed that it occurs in Genesis 2:22 (though some of it in 2:23 also) Isn't that odd.... the first time that 2 humans are ever paired, a very holy occurrence and an event which is also reflective of how the Christian church (called the 'Bride of Christ' in scripture) will one day be paired with Jesus.  The church will be united with her 'husband' Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ and her Redeemer.  This pairing of two humans, the first two humans, happens at the first place in the Bible where three '2's show up all together in the numbering of the verses and chapters.  A 'trinity' of 2's.  Cool huh?  Was that guided by God, do you suppose?
