Ways In Which Jesus Relates To Actual Light!
"This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all." from 1 John 1:5
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it." Gospel of John 1:1-5
Jesus is called the Light of the World in the scriptures, among other names. This is a glorious and well deserved name, but is it more? Did God the Father build technical supportive evidence of Jesus being the 'Light of the World' directly into the creation that He called into being as Jesus stood beside Him? I certainly think He did. I feel that there are correlations in such numbers and to so high a degree of accuracy that they defy occurrence by chance. Here are some possible correlations between actual light properties and Jesus, from both a scientific stand point and a Biblical one:
1) Jesus was from the tribe of Judah, which in Moses's time was listed as leading about 186,000 men under their banner (from the tribes of Judah, Issachar, and Zebulon) when the Israelites would be on the move during their 40 years of wandering in the Sinai desert. From the air, the traveling formation of 12 Israelite tribes (three instructed to always march to the east, 3 to the west always, three particular ones to the north always, and three particular ones to the south always) and with the Levites in the center this looked something like a 'cross', though these Israelites would not have had reason to assign any meaning to that at this time in their history. Each of the four arms of the 'cross' consisted of three tribes marching in formation. The 11th son of Jacob/Israel, named Joseph, had founded two tribes: Ephraim and Manasseh (Joseph's sons' names.)
"All the men assigned to the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, number 186,400. They will set out first." Numbers 2:9
186,400 in Judah's group? The speed of light is about 186,000 miles per second - something slightly over that quantitiy. (186,282 miles/second seems to be the most exact and current number in use, though many sites still list it as 186,000 miles/second) And there are 86,400 seconds in our present calendar days. 24 hours x 60 minutes x 60 seconds per minute = 86,400 seconds per day. Note that the number 86,400 lies (exactly) within the number 186,400, a number which God provided us with more than 3,300 years ago, concerning the number of Israelites who marched under Judah's banner. What are the odds of hitting that number precisely and exactly? And the distance from the Earth to the Sun is said to equal about 400 x Earth's diameter. More like 390 perhaps, if you do the math. So note that the number 400 is there at the end of the number of those who marched under the banner of Judah. Another 400: the diameter of the sun is 400 times the diameter of the moon, which can almost exactly block the light of the sun during an eclipse. A 186,000 combined with a nearly exact '400'? 186,400 is the number of Judah's marching group during their 40 years with Moses and Aaron in the Sinai? It's already statistically amazing how much this number relates to the properties of light. But what about the 1864, the first 4 numerals of this Biblical number 186,400, which seems to have so much to do with phenomena we call light?
James Clerk Maxwell, Scottish Physicist, Mathematician.
June 1831 - Nov 1879
It was on December 8th, 1864 that a renowned Scottish mathematician and physicist named James Clerk Maxwell read a soon to be published paper of his to Britain's Royal Society, after which it was peer reviewed and published the next year. In that paper, called A Dynamical Theory of the Electromagnetic Field, he had worked out that the nature of light was to be recognized as a form of energy existing in concert, intertwined essentially, with electro-magnetic radiation. James Maxwell caused a great revolution in physics with this paper. Yet he was a devout and deeply convinced Christian all of his life, in the end rejecting all but the Gospel among all human philosophies with which he had become familiar, according to some who wrote about his life. It is said that he had memorized much of Psalms at a very early age, and was exceedingly familiar with the Bible.
Another connection of sorts is to think of the Sabbath day being a real day, yes, but also a metaphor in certain ways for Jesus: He was from the tribe of Judah which, as mentioned above, was once counted as having 186,400 people in the 3 tribes that made up the marching group led by Judah, as mentioned in Numbers 2:9. He was all about 'light'. He was the one that we are told to take rest and refuge in, He is our 'ARK', He is our 'Sabbath Day' in a way. So again consider that a day, a full calendar day, one single day as 86,400 seconds in it as mentioned above. The number 86,400 is found perfectly preserved inside of the number 186,400. That can be no less than odds of about 86,399 to 1 against that happening, right? But actually much more against, as numerals go on forever. So, this shows the definition of 1 second in a certain sense, does it not? The scriptures and the Earth's rotation as man measures it with a calendar preserve the precise duration of a second, it looks like. You could refer to it as a chance occurrence if you preferred. But surely there was no sure and certain measurement for a second 3,300 some years ago. But in our day (the last couple of hundred years) by the time that men and women began trying to gauge the exact speed of light, there was a much more exact value for the time unit we call '1 second'. And it just so happens that the Bible may have known exactly how many of those seconds would exist here in our time, in a calendar day from our time. 86,400.
In His Earthly embodiment as 'God made into a man' Jesus has a part in being the Ancient of Days. And the seconds in a calendar day, as it is counted here in our modern time shows up? The exact number? How crazy, how eerily odd it is that the precise number of seconds in a day would be encapsulated within the census number for the tribe of Judah, from which our Lord Jesus emerged. Judah was the Israelite tribe destined to rule the others, according to prophecy given by Jacob/Israel to his sons, scripture given many centuries before Jesus' birth. (see Genesis 49:8-12)
Light's speed is somewhat inexactly known, both because of tiny inaccuracies in velocity measurement, and slight definitional inaccuracies in the distance unit, the 'meter', which is used for most measurements these days. There has been a great deal of effort put into precisely defining it, however. There has been a firming up of the definition of the meter even in the last 30 years in fact. In a 1983 meeting in France called the "Conference Generale des Poids et Mesures" (General Conference of Weights and Measures) the METER was officially defined as follows: "The METER is the length of the path travelled by light in a vacuum during a time interval of 1/299,792,458 of a second." This also essentially meant the inverse; it inferred that light travels 299,792,458 meters per second.
But note that light's speed varies slightly as it travels through water or air or glass or a vacuum. Gravity fields also affect the travel path of lights, causing them to curve, adding to the travel distance in ways that are difficult to measure exactly.
2) As far as astrological bodies, the 'light that rules the night' is the moon. Though the moon is not to be worshiped in any manner, it seems built to be reflective of Jesus in many ways. For instance, it does not emit visible light of its own. The moon only reflects the light of the 'greater light' (the sun, which also should not be worshiped in any way, which seems to be symbolic of God the Father in some ways). The moon merely reflects the sun's light onto the Earth. Jesus, in similar manner, assured us that He spoke only the words that the Father gave Him to speak. So in that respect, He carefully reflected His Father's 'light' onto the Earth, and into the ears of mankind. Oddly, it takes 1.3 seconds for light to travel from the moon to the Earth. Consider Genesis 1.3: "And God said, "Let there be light", and there was light." 1.3 seconds. Genesis 1.3
Jesus is called 'the Lion of the Tribe of Judah', and his Earthly parents - Joseph and Mary - were of the tribe of Judah. Judah was the Israelite tribe prophesied to rule among the other brother Israelite tribes. If you look at the New Testament, its 1st chapter, 3rd verse (Matthew 1:3) reads as follows: "Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar. Perez was the father of Hezron, Hezron was the father of Ram." It is at the beginning of a genealogy of Jesus of Nazareth, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, which had just begun at Abraham in the previous verse, and ends up continuing down to Joseph, the husband of Mary, the Earthly mother of Jesus. What are the chance that the genealogy of Jesus, the light of the world, would begin at Matthew 1.3 when 1.3 seconds is the travel time of light from the moon to the Earth, and the moon's characteristics in so many ways reflect those of Jesus? Sure, it may be coincidence. But maybe not.
Another coincidence: the number 8 is especially relatable to Jesus. I've read several articles that speak of why they believe that the number 8 in 'Jesus' number'. Jesus is like the Ark of Noah, and there were 8 in the Ark. Jesus story in the Gospels focuses in the end on the final week, the final 7 days. Then on Sunday, the first day of the next week (but day 8 in that narrative) Jesus returns from the dead. Jewish boys were circumcised on the 8th day, a sacrificing of the flesh of a son, so to speak. They were told to do it. They didn't even know why it was done that way but they did it because God commanded them to, and one day after about 2,000 years of doing it a certain Son (Jesus, of course) came to sacrifice His flesh during an epic 8 day period to atone for their sins forever if they would engage in a covenant that He came to offer them. And there are a number of other reasons for which the number 8 is thought to be specially connected to Jesus.
Why bring this up when talking about the Moon, and about Jesus the Light of the World? Because the orbital circuit of the Moon around the Earth is given as 1,490,070 miles on some sites. And the Moon seems in some ways to symbolize Jesus, Who is the LIGHT OF THE WORLD. So how long would it take light to travel that same orbital distance around the Earth that the Moon travels? MOONS ORBITAL DISTANCE ( 1,490,070 miles ) / LIGHT'S SPEED (186,282 miles per second) = 7.999 seconds. Only 1/10,000th of a second off of a perfect 8 seconds. Again, how long would it take light to travel the course of the MOON's orbit, the orbit of a planetary body which seems to connote Jesus in so many ways, JESUS, Who is all about LIGHT and whose number is said to be 8? 8 seconds. A very precise 8 seconds according to currently available distances and speeds. Again, that is a marvel of a 'coincidence', of which there are so very, very many to be found once you look at our solar system which God created through Jesus according to the opening of the Gospel of John. The Bible is clear that an all knowing, all foreseeing God (Yahweh, the God of Abraham) created everything through and for Jesus, His Son. That is supported by many scriptures throughout the Bible.
Also, the moon's surface is all torn up by meteors people say, though I sometimes think it's from something bubbling up from inside (due to the moon's craters seeming to be so usually circular. Where are the glancing blows?) But either way, its surface is very marred. And if the moon was made to reflect Jesus in some ways, then its face should be marred, because Jesus was betrayed to the Jewish government, who did not like Him, by Jesus' own disciple and apostle Judas, who betrayed Jesus for 30 measly pieces of silver paid to him by the Jewish government. Jesus was then whipped and beaten mercilessly on his head, face, and body at various times during the night preceding his crucifixion. Both Jews and Romans took their turns. Jesus just tolerated it, enduring in silence.
30 pieces of silver! The moon, the light which shines in the darkness, orbits the Earth at a distance of almost exactly 30 times the diameter of Earth! Chance? 30 pieces of silver, orbital distance of 30 Earth diameters?
Isaiah predicted someone like Jesus was to come one day, when he spoke these words of prophecy in a discourse that began earlier at Isaiah 52:4 with the words "For this is what the Sovereign Lord says" :
Isaiah 52:13-15 "See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. Just as there were many who were appalled at him - his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and his form marred beyond human likeness - so will he sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him. For what they were not told they will see, and what they have not heard they will understand."
Is the moon greatly marred and disfigured? So was Jesus. So was this 'servant' that Isaiah foresaw in the 700's B.C., more than seven centuries prior to Jesus.
3) Light has the baffling property of behaving like a particle at times, and as an energy wave at times. So light has some attributes of both matter and energy. Jesus was and is both God and man. He had and maybe still has properties of both. God is spirit, and man is made of palpable matter, of flesh, stuff you can find on the periodic table. Jesus, born from His mother Mary's womb, but fathered by the Holy Spirit of God, was both God and man, both flesh and spirit.
4) There are some Muslim scientific circles which believe that the actual speed that light travels at is equal to a speed of 12,000 lunar orbits distances per Earth day - literally and precisely - if you view the orbit (time the orbit) from a distant perspective. They believe God designed it to be that way - precisely. Muslims and Christians have many areas of great divergence in belief, but if the Muslims are right about this, then they are right about it. When you are right about some scientific fact, then that is that! I read their description of this calculation, and it did sound interesting. They might be right! Hey, the Arabs invented algebra, and we use that without complaint. Muslims can be and certainly have been leaders in scientific discovery. Are they this time?
If the claim about light traveling 12,000 lunar orbits per day is right, it does have some Biblical correlations. It correlates numerically to this (for one thing): there will be 12,000 saints from each tribe among the saints saved by Jesus at one certain time, according to the book of Revelation, 144,000 saints total. Jesus had his human descent through the Israelite tribe of Judah, and 12,000 saints will be from that tribe, just like the others. So, though I can't agree with the Muslim faith, maybe they have something interesting and important to add here. I don't have the skills to substantiate that claim.
5) The moon's own rotation is so precisely coupled with the moon's orbit around the Earth that the light that reflects from its marred face is always reflected from the same marred face. The moon looks the same - ever and always - to people on Earth because it is always the same face of it that mankind looks up and sees. The light that the moon shines into the darkness has shone from a moon that is ever constant with regard to us, except for the amount of its never changing face that is actually lit. When we can't see too much of its light (quarter moon, new moon, etc.) we have the moon relatively closer to the sun than us, so that most of the sunlit portion of the moon is blocked by the unlit part of the moon, from our perspective. Jesus is not visible to us now, because He is in the presence of His Father. The moon is not fully visible to us when it is closer than we are to the sun. Similar idea?
The moon orbits the Earth, as you know, but its orbital plane is about 5 degrees on the slant to Earth's orbital plane around the sun. That's why the Earth's shadow only seldom darkens the moon when we are between the moon and the sun. If we rotated on the same plane, the Earth's shadow would block the moon from receiving light whenever it was "directly behind us, further from us than the sun". But because of the 5 degree inclination of its orbit, it can be directly behind us, yet either higher or lower than the Earth's shadow. This makes eclipses much more infrequent.
6) Light has 7 major colors, diffracted by a prism. The light of the rainbow has 7 colors we say. Seven is the number of holiness and purity. Jesus is the only one to ever walk in the flesh of man and remain holy and pure, and Jesus is named 'the light of the world', among other things. "The word of the Lord is like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified 7 times." Psalms 12: v 6
The number '7' is also the number of churches in Asia to which Jesus sent a message in the Book of Revelation. So, '7' is a number associated with the Christian Church as a whole, and the churches job is to share the message, God's 'light' to a world that toils away, lost in darkness.
So, light has the 7 major colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet), and the Word of God (Jesus, remember, is called 'the Word') is like 'silver purified 7 times', and the Christian Church (the Bride of Christ) is associated with the number 7 also, through the Book of Revelation.
7) Light from the sun takes 8.3 minutes to get to earth, and therefore it averages about the same time to get to the moon. After all, sometimes the moon is between us and the sun, and sometimes we are between the sun and the moon.
So light is related to Jesus over and over and over in scripture. He is the light of the world, for instance. And there are many other instances. He will come from the tribe of Judah (His Earthly lineage, anyway) and He will be a great light. Light from the SUN takes 8.3 average minutes to reach Earth. That is 498 seconds. 498. If we go to Genesis 49 then verse 8 (a 498 correlation) we find that a dying Jacob is telling his sons things about their future. Each son receives a prophecy. And at Genesis 49, verse 8, Jacob speaks his dying prophetic words to his son Judah. He says:
“Judah,[b] your brothers will praise you;
your hand will be on the neck of your enemies;
your father’s sons will bow down to you.
9 You are a lion’s cub, Judah;
you return from the prey, my son.
Like a lion he crouches and lies down,
like a lioness—who dares to rouse him?
10 The scepter will not depart from Judah,
nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet,[c]
until he to whom it belongs[d] shall come
and the obedience of the nations shall be his.
11 He will tether his donkey to a vine,
his colt to the choicest branch;
he will wash his garments in wine,
his robes in the blood of grapes.
12 His eyes will be darker than wine,
his teeth whiter than milk
End Quote
How amazing that once again a Biblical connection associated both with the tribe of Judah, and concurrently with light, is to be found embedded in the cosmic architecture of the solar system. How many more such connections have not yet been noticed?
In England, where their kings and queens are thought by some to be of the line of Judah, they take an oath on the coronation chair under which is slid the storied 'Stone of Destiny', and they speak words similar to what is said in verse 10 when they are crowned, or so I have read.
Genesis 8.3 (8 is also Jesus's number) falls in the middle of the Biblical narrative about the water receding during the Great Flood, so that Noah's ark might come to rest on the mountains of Ararat. Noah's ark is seen as a 'type' of Jesus, because whoever takes refuge in him is saved from the great destruction (i.e. - eternal punishment, God's wrath, etc.) that overtakes all of those not in the 'ark'. Sometimes God the Father has become angry enough at men to send forth great punishment upon them. However, God the Father (again, the sun seems to have been built to symbolize God the Father in some ways) passes over the people that are under the protection of - taking refuge in - His son Jesus, or things which seem to symbolize His son Jesus.
Some examples of things which seem to symbolize Jesus are the Ark of Noah, which had a 'door' in its side just as Jesus had a spear hole in His, and all saved life forms from the land and air were saved by availing themselves of this 'hole in the side'. In the case of Noah's ark, the animals and people boarded the ark through the doorway in the side of the ark. And as for the hole put in Jesus's side by the spear, all Christians have gratefully accepted the atoning blood and cleansing water that flowed from Jesus's side when he struggled on the cross, died, and was pierced by the Roman's spear. If you live through the judgement (a 'Great Destruction') the scriptures assure us that it will only be by Jesus washing away your sins and interceding with the Father for your soul - interceding despite our guilt.
Passover (when the Jews consume the lamb that they sacrifice, put its blood upon the 'narrow door' behind which they shelter, and eat its flesh completely, staying inside their homes until morning) commemorates the night about 35 centuries ago when the Angel of Death passed over those Jews who did those things in obedience to God's command - those Jews were saved, they were safe. But the Egyptian first born (man and animal) all were slain by the Angel of Death that night. Where ever the angel did not see the blood of the slain lamb on the narrow entry doorway to a house, the Angel entered that house and killed the first born. Jesus is also called the 'Lamb of God'.
Wherever Jesus's shed blood is seen on our sinful souls, whenever the day of judgement comes, we can be spared. God will let His wrath against our sins pass by us for the sake of our belonging to His son Jesus, sparing our souls. But only if we have given ourself to Jesus, the Christ, the Savior, the Messiah, before our death or (for those who lived before Jesus or never heard of Him) before the judgement.
The Romans destroyed the Jews in Jerusalem in 70 A.D., and the city of Jerusalem as well, but the Christians were previously given a way to escape.... which they took! When a Roman general lifted the siege and departed the vicinity of Jerusalem early in the campaign, the Christians all left out the gate of Jerusalem and ran for their lives. Early traditions said that no Christian died in Jerusalem's destruction. Even in ancient times it was not known exactly why that Roman General lifted the siege and left. But the Jewish warriors in Jerusalem chased them down (the 12th Legion) and soundly defeated them. That victory gave them an over abundance of optimism, and when the city of Jerusalem was placed under siege again a short time later, by other Generals of Rome, they ignored several offers to surrender under fairly humane terms. That overconfidence spelled their doom - for the city, for the nation, for the people inside the walls. Hundreds of thousands died.
8) Jesus spoke of or dealt with vision on several occasions during his ministry, but here is a statement he made that really stands out when you think of it in terms of light. I'll give it from two of the Gospels:
Matt 7:4 "How can you say to your brother 'Let me take the speck out of your eye' when all the time there is a plank in your own?"
Luke 6:41 "Why do you look at the speck of saw dust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"
OK, these sayings always seemed a little awkward to me. I can understand a speck of something being in someone's eye, but how could a plank get into your eye? But, if you are studying light, a thing which Jesus was and is, and which the eye is meant to receive and pass on to the brain, then the English words in these translated sentences begin to make some sense. A lot of the words, in English, have ended up relating to light, or at least hinting of it.
For instance: A plank is a board, yes. But there is also Planck's constant, 6.62517 x 10 (superscript) -27, a constant that you use when dealing with light's properties, calculating refractions, etc.
(Note the 'raised to the -27th power' portion of Planck's constant: Jesus was 'raised' on the cross and died there for us sinners. The New Testament has 27 books. And the 'power' of the gospel is that Jesus, the son of God, died for us, to atone for sins that we could never atone for on our own.
And this sentence Jesus spoke reminds us to deal with our own sins before becoming our brother's critic and healer. After all, our sin is sin, just like his sin is sin, right? Can the blind lead the blind?
Some translations use the word 'beam' instead of the word 'plank'. Beam is another word associated with light, of course. We use the phrase 'a beam of light', right?
With this idea that light's words and properties may associate with the actual Jesus, consider Snell's Law, which is used when dealing with light: n (subscript) i sin (i) = n (subscript) r sin (r)
In the Greek language, as best an English labelled keyboard can construct it, Jesus' name is spelled 'Iesous'. So maybe the (i) in Snell's Law stands for Jesus? So it's like it says: i sin (Jesus' sin) = 'r' sin (our sin). Buried within that formula is a 'sin' on each side of the equals sign. In a sense, that says 'sin = sin'. Sin is sin.
n (subscript) r ....nr sin.....inner sin. These same laws also deal with the scientific measurement of 'inner reflection' i.e. - reflection of light inside of a material. But we often use the term 'inner reflection' when we speak of the kind of thought you engage in when you examine your soul.
How about 'speck'? Light is regarded as being part of a spectrum in our day...the light 'speck'trum. Oops...spectrum, I mean.
9) Humans can see only part of the light spectrum. We 'see' the wavelengths between 390 nm - and 750 nm some sources say. That is exactly 360 nm of the light spectrum. Now consider this: Our Biblical year, in ancient times, was 360 days. Our 'circle' around the sun was divided into 360 degrees because of this, in ancient times, and we still use that convention today for circles. Our trip around the 'sun', our source of light, was divided into 360 days. And the wavelengths of light that we can see add up to 360 nm? And the iris of our eye is a nearly perfect circle as well. The same with our eye's pupil. And the optic nerves take the electrical impulses to the brain to then be formed into a coherent 'picture', for interpretation. But on the way...they cross. Cross! They cross each other, and then their input goes into the opposite side of the brain from the eye that received the impulse. A cross is formed by our optic nerves, and a cross is what our Lord died upon, and our Lord, Jesus, is called 'the Light of the World'.
I personally believe that the human body was made in the image of heavenly things or sometimes heavenly concepts. I believe that the right side of our brain may represent Jesus, and the left side may represent God the Holy Father.....the two of them sitting 'enthroned' together side by side. (OK, maybe my brain doesn't rate an actual throne, but...my white skull 'enthrones' it, right?) If so, this 'crossing' of the optical nerves allows the Son to see through the eye of the Father, and the Father to look upon us sinful humans through the eye of the Son. Isn't that kind of what Jesus's life as a human and death on the cross accomplished?
10) So, the distance to the sun is given in some sources as 400 times as far away as the moon. And the Sun is also given in some sources as 400 times the Moon's diameter. Two coincidental 400's? Well, that's only part of the coincidence! It so happens that, with the circumference of the Moon being what it happens to be, and the distance to the Sun being what it happens to be, and the distance of the moon from Earth being what it happens to be, and the size of the Sun being what it happens to be, it just so happens that all of those 'just so happens' cause it to happen to be that the moon can almost perfectly, almost just exactly, block the sun during an eclipse.
( And oh yeah, on this possibly momentous - so say the Mayans? - year of our Lord 2012 the King James Bible is 400 years old for part of the year! )
The orbits of the Earth and Moon aren't quite circular, so it varies a tiny amount depending on what stage of the orbits that the Earth and the Moon are in when the eclipse happens, but for the most part, the circle of the moon is perfect in size to completely block the sun...just barely...when they are perfectly aligned for a full eclipse. So, the Sun's searing, searching light is blocked by the beat up, marred, and defaced old moon so that that light 'passes us over' when the full mass of the moon 'intercedes' for us. For a crucial moment, the Sun sees only the Moon, and the Moon looks down tenderly upon us, and our sins are, for a moment, hidden from the bright all seeing light of the Sun.
A covenant of mercy was allowed by God the Father, and enacted by Jesus. Those of us who choose Jesus (not as our Senior Associate but as the Lord of Our Life...our Master) can follow Jesus and be under the protection of His sacrifice as we are allowed to do the remaining work of offering Jesus's covenant of salvation to the unreached. That's the best deal ever offered to humanity, I suspect we will all one day admit.
11) We have all heard of a ray of light, right? But most of us also know that 'Rey' is a word for king in some languages. The words Light Ray could sound like 'Light King' or 'King of Light' in that respect, and Jesus is both a King, and the Light that Shines in the Darkness. He is a Light King of sorts, a Light Rey.
Light! The more you look at it, the more it speaks of Jesus!
I hope to add to this list as time goes by, if I discover more.
Update: Here is a letter I received from a believer and math enthusiast named Stephen White, of Wisconsin, who was kind enough to give me permission to share it here as a continuation of this article. I think it adds significantly to the idea of light's properties relating to Jesus, in very interesting ways:
299,792,485 meters per second (scientifically measured value of the speed of light).
(2*9*9*7*9*2*4*5*8)*8 = 2.612736 E+7 This is Golden Ratio squared with a very small error. Eight is the number for Christ.
(2+2)*(8+6)*144000 = 8.64018 E+5 Looks similar to 86,400 seconds in a day?
(2+2)*(8+6)*(14)*4000 = 3.136 E+6 This is Pi with an error of 0.17%
4*9*1*5*70 = 12600 I read that the combined age of the Patriarchs from Adam to Moses is 12,600 years according to the Masoretic version of the Pentateuch .
These are all interesting numbers. Can they just be flukes?
299,981,722 (vs modern measured value of 299,792,458)
2*9*9*9*8*1*7*2*2 = 326592 Hmm...Here is that same number from the first calculation differing by a factor of 10. And like before the digits sum to 27.

3+2+7+3+8+5+5+8 = 41 I'm still working on significance of 41.
Pi with an error of 0.065%
