  In continuing with the idea that there may be pictures of Holy and Heavenly things, events, and ideas built onto us and into us by our limitlessly talented Father, working through Jesus and with Wisdom beside Him delighted and observing as it tells us in Proverbs, and foreseeing all of history even as He worked, here is another way that several different tissues on the face, used in combination with each other, may represent Jesus crucified with the two men he died with crucified beside him.  Certainly, it's subjective.  Certainly, it could be wrong.  But we are made in God's image in some manner or another....that much the Bible tells us in several places.
