2011 A.D.:  A Little Old Testament Oddity To Ponder

This is just a speculative thought to ponder....

Three people that stand out as early 'Patriarchs' in the Bible are Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  They are Grandfather, Son, and Grandson to each other, of course.  Here's something strange and kind of cool though:  If you take the first syllable in each of those three names, (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob), and then form them into a name, you will get:    ABIJA

Abija is almost the same as ABIJAH.  That is the name of one of the kings of Judah, and it means 'God is my Father'.  God is my Father.  How fitting for those 3 Patriarchs.

Some people think they have identified that Jesus must have been born during the time of service for the 'course' of Levite Priests called the Division of Abijah.  That's speculation too...but it would put His birth in September, probably, if true.  So, Jesus, who could truly say, "God Is My Father' might have been born in the course of Abijah, which means God Is My Father.  And He is of God, so Jesus is of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.  And God truly is His Father.

  Just a thought.
